This is easily the main attraction for visitors to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Often, the beach is covered by a cloud but, just as often, it is a welcome cloud as the blazing sun can be tiring!

El Confital – Paradise a stone’s throw from home
A beautiful video on El Confital, part of the outcropping of mountains on the far side of the city of Las Palmas (where the lighthouse is). This is one of my favorite places to visit, especially during winter when the waves are big and there are few people. Great place to think and ponder one’s existence.
